Judy Sima, retired media specialist, is considered the Pied Piper of storytelling in the Metropolitan Detroit area. Judy "makes a point of taking young storytellers "under her wing" to help them with their art. More than any other single storyteller, Judy has helped to foster and cultivate the next generation of storytellers." With Kevin Cordi, she co-authored Raising Voices: Youth Storytelling Groups and Troupes, a valuable manual for those interested in working with youth tellers. As co-editor of MI Story, Judy brings the world of storytelling to the public forefront.

Judy's love of story is infectious and she has willing shared her talents, her resources and her enthusiasm throughout
the North Central region and beyond.
